On this page, you will find some of my personal thoughts about modesty.  In May 2005, I had the idea to start a small club of girls, and we called ourselves Modest Maidens.  The motto of the Modest Maidens was, "I promise to behave like a lady at all times."  The only rule that the girls of the club had to follow was that each had to wear dresses or skirts the first week of every month, all week.  During the first Modest Maidens' week, I realized that I not only looked like a lady wearing dresses, but I felt like one, too.  I decided from then on that I would wear only dresses or skirts.  I wanted to feel like a lady all the time, and it was easier to  feel like a lady when I looked like a lady.  The Lord Jesus Christ led me on this journey, I am sure.  Before I got saved, about a year and a half later, I kept thinking, "Lord, I did all this for You. I wore dresses for You!"  And I could hear Him say, "I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." (Matthew 7:23)  I was gloriously saved in December 2006.  Since then, the Lord has called me to act, speak, and dress even more modestly.  He has since given me the opportunity to sew modest clothing for other girls and ladies around the world.  He is so wonderful.  If you aren't saved, please visit the "Greatest Gift" page to find out about the greatest gift ever given to man.
